FISH IN FLORIDA - Jim Fish is a good friend and fellow Geezer besides being the Elk of The Month in Homosassa, Florida. Jimbo, as we affectonately call him, left us over two years ago on a hot June morning with his wife Karen son James, and family dog Rascal. He is joined by another fellow Geezer and snowbird, Swish, for three months during the winter. It gives us an excuse for a Florida trip around Super Bowl time every year. Another Geezer, Fergie, also flies down to Florida (Snowbird) during the winter and he is located nearby in Clearwater with his wife Brenda. Also in Clearwater is Foridian, and former Goodyear Associate Pearl Hayes. And of course our Florida Correspondant Jerry E. is back down in Venice, FL after the holidays in Akron.
JIm was a former employee at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co as were/are most of his fellow Geezers. While there at Goodyear Jimbo was a hard working section manager in the Payroll Department, and it is no surprise to us that he has been recognized for his extraordinary efforts down in Homosassa.
