GEEZERS BARTENDER OF THE MONTH FOR

Kim is our Bartender of The Month for August 2007. She works at the New Dietz's/Dusty's Landing II on Portage Lakes. She happens to be the niece of one of our Geezers, Drumstir, and she is the daughter of Denny's sister Patty. Kim is a hardworking bartender who's customers come first, as we found out when we tried to take some pictures of her. We hate to intrude on the bartenders when we show up to take pictures because we know that they are busy. We normally try to set up a time aside from the bartender's regular hours, but sometimes that cannot be accomplished. In fact Kim had no idea in the world that we were coming that evening to take pictures for our website even though Drumstir (Denny) assured us that she had agreed to be our next BOTM. However, everything worked out fine and here she is. If any of you have been to Dietz's in the past, but haven't been back lately you are really missing the boat so to speak. Dietz's now has a deck open to their patrons for dinner and drinks with a bar downstairs, and upstairs where the regular restaurant used to be. During the weekends there is live music out on the deck in the afternoon, and bands inside in the evenings. Stop by if you haven't been to Dietz's in a while , and say Hello to Kim, and tell her that the Geezers sent you.

You can have $2 domestic bottles of beer, $2 Well drinks, and $2 Potato Skins. If you get there later or need more to eat Dietz's has a full menu which includes Steaks, and Salads, Chicken, Shrimp, Fish, Sandwiches, and Appetizers. If you would like to take a pontoon boat out on the lake and look at Diet'z from the outside in, you can rent pontoon boats at reasonable rates at Dusty's Landing II.
