GEEZERS BARTENDER OF THE MONTH FOR

MARCH 2007

Karen is one of the friendly bartenders at Dusty's Yacht Club, 4760 Dusty's Rd, Portage Lakes. She was a little reluctant to pose for pictures, but along with a few of The Geezers and her friends she agreed. Karen is always pleasant and in a cheerful mood making sure all of her customers are taken care of  in a timely manner. Dusty's is right on the water on Portage Lakes, but with the winter weather finally showing it's face, the water is not in it's summer state. Instead of boats, during the winter months there are snowmobiles pulling up out front. Dusty's is open from 4:00-11:00 PM Tues thru Fri, and 1:00-1:00 AM on Sat & Sun.  Closed Mondays. Karen works on Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, and every other Saturday afternoon. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays she brews up a crock pot full of some delicious concoction for her customers to enjoy. It could be anything from chili to Goulash! But it is always delicious. Just the way we like it! And there is always Soup available every day. Dusty's also has entertainment on the weekend. It would be a fun place to come during the summer, and they have a Clambake usually two weeks after Labor Day. We started coming to Dusty's on the advice of one of Karen's friends, Beth, and we are glad that we did. We understand that Dusty's is open to the public. Stop in and say Hello to Karen.
