GEEZERS NITE OUT LEGENDS SPORTS PUB GREEN, OHIO JULY 3, 2013 Here is TRICIA, one of our fave bartenders at Legends. Believe it or not, but this is the way, our Entertainment Director, R. B., walked into Legends on this nite!Legends has a great popcorn machine, and some of the Geezers take advantage of it as an Appetizer before dinner.S. B., got went and got some of it when R. B. tried to steal some. S. B. would not have anything to do with it! This is supposed to be a pic of S. B.'s dinner. I asked R. B. to take this pic, and this is the result.Legends has been advertising a new Hoppin Red Scotch Ale on tap. Here is S. B. trying out a glass!Here is R. B. also trying out a glass of the Hoppin Frog Red Scotch Ale. He said it was "O. K."! And this is R. B.'s dinner. It is usually unusual that he eats, let alone anything healthy. Here are SPIKE'S Wings. They are a dry-rub variety. BILLY BOOB wnet from the Half-Slab of Ribs to the Ultimate Reuben.R. B. gave up the practice of writing "love notes" on S. B.'S Check. They were playing the Saturday after the Fourth of July. The band following them was BUCK NAKED. There were Fireworks afterward!If you look real close you just might see S. B. (Dougie) sitting with some friends. He knows a member of the band. I also thought that RITCH UNDERWOOD would be there, but he no longer plays with them! GEEZERS NITE OUT WINKING LIZARD MONTROSE/COPLEY JULY 17, 2013Here is MANDY in one of her typical poses for the camera. Darn is she hard to catch.And here is shy AMANDA who was also waiting on us at the patio bar.This is what I ordered to eat. It is what I usually order, a Turkey Wrap. But this time I ordered a side of Home Fries and they were delicious. This, believe it or not, is a Vodka on The Rocks! However, MANDY always makes it into Sangria! ZIPPY is the Winking Lizard mascot. Every Winking Lizard has one. I don't know if they are all named Zippy. I think not. This has to have something to do with Akron U. Here are some pics.ZIPPYZIPPYI got his attention after he saw me taking a few pics!This is hard to explain. In one sense it is something that you have probably seen on our photos before. And then again it isn't. I have come up with an idea of stamping our bills to judge our bartenders. But R. B. just won't let it go!

FERGIE fresh back from his Florida trip with DRUMSTIR.The band EVERYDAY AMERICA setting up for the evening performance.The Rockin On The Range party did not deter golfers from practicing off of the grass.What a Lineup! From the Left is FERGIE, R.B. and BILLY BOB! EVERYDAY AMERICA. They were the band for the evening. They had a rock/country style, and the female lead singer was great.S. B.'S plate. Alittle less that the last time we were there. You had to go up to the grill and order your meat this time! A shot of the people out at the tables set up on the grass of the range.The Sound Man. I always take a picture of the "sound guy"! He never gets any credit. Right SPIKE?Here is BUD "BUDDY BELL" DRIER" with "The Lil Woman"! Buit she no longer works for the Patio Partys on Wednesdays on a regular basis. We miss her! Here is DRUMSTIR'S Portebello Mushroom Salad. Can you find the mushrooms? Drumstir couldn't. So he brought it to Mike's attention.Here is a plate of Portobello Mushrooms that MIKE came back with from the kitchen. That should have made Drumstir happy. Did it? SPIKE had no problem with his order. He enjoyed six dry rub JUMBOwings. Same with FERGIE. This is his Patty Melt sandwich. R. B. also indulged. I believe this was a BLT. And here IT is! My Shooting Star Burger. It is inexpensive but filling. PERFECT!

Don't they look cute?This was a GEEZERS NITE OUT, and also a BIRTHDAY celebration for two of The Geezers and a friend. Mine (JOEBO) was 9/10 R.B.'s 9/12. And KRISKO was 9/13. Krisko brought a box of "low-call" cupcakes for all of the Geezers and Patio Crew.Here are the "low-cal" cupcakes. They were peanut butter! They were yummy! THANK YOU KRISKO!And here they/we are. We gave her a card to congratulate her.At the end of the bar where we were sitting they had a Paul Bunyan type baseball bat above a TV. It just so happens that there was an MLB Playoff game on it!Some itmes from Legends New and Improved Menu. MR. LOBBER had the Chef Salad.SPIKE ordered the Dry Rub wings which he says were a little spicy, but Good!This is the Beacons Best hamburger the Bulldog burger enjoyed by FERGIE! He said it was #1 Delicious!While we were at Legends one of our Geezers, DRUMSTIR was in HAWAII with his wife CINDY! Here is the first picture from the balcony of their room while having breakfast. GEEZERS NITE OUT NEW WINKING LIZARD & LIZARDVILLE MONTROSE/COPLEY OCTOBER 16, 2013Here we have MANDY, one of the Bartenders at the Winking Lizard. She is difficult to photograph as she is always moving!Here is DRUMSTIR, the Birthday Boy fresh back from Hawaii! (See Hawaii pics Below) This is the Birthday card I got for DRUMSTIR. There are a gang of Pirates on the front of the card. The question is "How Many Pirates Does It Take To Wish You A Happy Birthday?" When you open it, a Pirate talks. Then when you talk to the Parrot he repeats everything you say! Here is DRUMSTIR listening to the Pirate repeat what he just said. And here is S. B. also listening to the Parrot repeat what he just told it. You Don't Want To Know! This is DRUMSTIR'S dinner. He ordered the Special on Wednesdays at the Lizard of a Half Slab of Ribs with Fries! We were at the inside bar on the Winking Lizard side. R. B. and I were sitting near a rack of draft beer taps. R. B. noticed there was one tap handle that was for JOE'S PILSNER! A Bombay Sapphire gin Martini. My (Joebo) "Jack" On The Rocks! (Just One)OK, as if you didn't know, this is R. B. I buy him somethig to wear on Halloween. Here is another shot of R. GEEZERS NITE OUT TILTED KILT PUB & EATERY NOVEMBER 20, 2013Onf of our bartenders for the evening, LYNAE. I hope I got the spelling right on that.Here is LYNAE again. She took good care of us the time that we were there. Here is R. B. with one of the Kilt Girls! He coudl have gone to a Cavs game in a lodge, but what he made the right call!Here is one of our foreign Geezers. This is BUD DULIN who currently resides in Germany. We used to play in a band together in Kent during the 60's! Here he is with Kilt Girl ERIKA. This is the Irish Stew that I (JOEBO) ordered for dinner from the Tilted Kilt's excellent Menu. I highly recommend it.This is Kilt Girl BROOKE. She works at the Tilted Kilt, and she also does modeling in Cleveland.and, yes, here is the BUDMAN again posing with BROOKE!And yet another pic of BUD with BROOKE. I made them take another, and another in case one didn't come out. But they all did.I was a little late on this shot. The Kilt Girls were helping a young man celebrate his birthday. When they find out someone is celebrating one they all gather around and announce it. In this case is was for a baby boy! Cute.

We can't show you the previous pics because they were blurred! Enough said! Here is the BUDDMANN from Germany visiting for the holidays. This is another one of our former Goodyear Associates G2 (GARY SUTHERLAND). We have two Geezers named Gary so one bartender called Gary Sutherland G2. That is not a Vulcan salute. He had some surgery on his hand.Here is BILLY BOB with the BUDDMANN. Billy Bob finally made it to a GNO after missing the last two due to work!And here is an ole friend of ours, PUDGE, who used to be one of the bartenders at Kevin O'Briens when we used to meet there for our GNO's exclusively. After a couple of years we decided to branch out!I thought this was an interesting photo. This is a bottle of wine that I bought at Giant Eagle on my way home from this meeting at The Grille!

GEEZERS NITE OUT JOHNNY J'S PUB & GRILLE SPRINGFIELD DECEMBER 4, 2013 Johnny J's Has Free Fries when you sit at the bar. Called Bar Fries Not Bar Flies!Wednesday nite is also $3 Martini Nite. Here is an example of one of the delicious choices.Here is STORMY with another type of Martini on $3 Martini Nite! We were giving her a hard time because of her Mich State T-Shirt. Her family attended Mich State, and she lost a swimming scholarship because of an injury! OK!And here is JACK. We usually don't put male bartenders on our site except he made FERGIE a Jack on the Rocks. And here is the BUDDMANN. He is visiting from Germany where he lives full time. They should call the iPhone the EyePhone because the camera in it does not photograph eyes well. We will publish some pics in this Gallery taken buy Bud with a real camera. SPIKE drinks Bud Select 55 beer whenever he can get it. But he also brings along his jug of tomato juice, commonly referred to as "Red Eye"! Here he is making the pour. He says it helps to keep him from getting a headache.This is SPIKE'S daughter DENISE. He didn't know she would be there, and she didn't know he would be there. This is a Dirty Martini. And who do you think ordered it? See Next Picture!YESSSSSSS! None other than S. B. (Skinny Boy) is the one who ordered it. One thing about $3 Martini Nite at JJ's is that the Martinis keep coming! Tricia had labled that phone as Baldy so she did the same one to this phone. Here is SPIKE sipping on a Vodka/Cranberry that I bought him. He was going to leave but I talked him into staying for "Juan Moore"!This is S. B.'s dinner. This is why he stays to "S"! R.B.'S "Jerk Rub" wings. He is now known as J. R.this is The FORESTER'S Ribs dinner.My Long Island Iced Tea that Legends ahs on Special on Wednesdays for $2.99 from 5-Close!We were watching the Ohio State basketball team playing on the TV rack. We happened to look above and there was a Christmas Tree! OMG!Ohio State was too much for Bryant. But Billy Bob said they are the largest Private University in the state of Rhode Island! Cool. And this is the FORESTERS' bill after his "good friend" R. B. wrote his usual message to the bartender to make her think that he did it. Excpet TRICIA is on to him now! Never bats an eye!
This is BUD DULIN AKA BUDDMANN. He lives in Germany, but he comes back to visit at least once a year. I (JOBEBO) used to play in a band with him in Kent called The SUDDS. My cousin JIM PAULIS was also in the band. Here are some pics that Bud took at Legneds on Dec 11 before he headed back home.Bartender TRICIA. she was named Beacons Best #1 Bartender in the area. I just happneed to look up on top of them to see this christmas tree strategically placed.Here it looks like BUD was trying to take a pic of S. B. but got me in the foreground. Way to go BUD.And this picture, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to put on. It is my Alfred Hitchock moment that I dread. I love taking pics, but not being in them. Good job BUDDMANN!

GEEZERS NITE OUT THE WINKING LIZARD MONTROSE/COPLEY DECEMBER 18, 2013 Here we have two of our bartenders for the nite KATE on the Left and MANDY. They take good care of us if we bring Cookies! And here are a couple of our cookie eaters AKA bartenders AMY on the Left and GREG. And here They are! The COOKIES! A good friend of The Geezers KRISKO bakes beau coup cookies during Christmas. And she started the practice of bringing a plate of cookies to our Geezers Nite Out at The Winking Lizard last year at the old location. Thanks Kris!A better look at the Cookies after the wrapper was removed! That signaled to the help at the Lizard to Help Themselves! And they did. I think that KRISKO has become the COOKIE LADY! Here is KATE getting ready to Dig In!MANDY has a dilema! She just started a diet (Who knows why?) and we brought in this big tray of Cookies. Will she Crack?Those cookies are like magnets. Here is GAYLA getting ready to sample a few!The Winking Lizard has these Christmas Story Lamps on the bar Year Round. But they sure add to the atmosphere at Christmas Time.Here is that same lamp after KRISKO took the ribbon that was on the cookie wrapper when they were covered, and she tied it to the Leg Lamp!This is S. B. with BETTY, another friend of ours and a friend of KRISKO'S. S. B. is reverting back to his H. S. days in this picAnd here in this trio is BETTY, again, S. B. (Center) and KRISKO! MERRY CHRISTMAS to one and all!BETTY was getting ready to leave, and R. B. was waiting for her seat at the bar. Here is MANDY again. She is hard at work but she knows how to pose for the camera!Most of us ordered from the Lizard's excellent Menu. This is a pic of KRISKO'S meal consisting of wings and a small House Salad which she said had corned beef in it. YUM!Here is S. B.'s Salad. That's how he stays so Skinny! The Lizard has great salads!DRUMSTIR ordered a bowl of Chili. I think it is called Joe's Chili. If he would have known that I don't think he would have ordered it. He said it was "OK"! This plate contains BILLY BOB'S Ribs. The Lizard has 1/2 Slab on Special on Wednesday nights.This is a glass of something called Fireball Whiskey. KRISKO ordered it, and we all tried it. It is very strong, but tastey! There is one item on the Menu that stuck out like a sore thumb. It is a Big Hot Dog. And when we say, Big, we mean Big. It is called the OUTRAGEOUS HOTDOG! It is a grilled 1LB hotdog with many various toppings. We alerted the bartenders to let us know if anyone ordered it so that we could take a pic. Someone finally did and HERE IT IS! And here is the lucky couple who are going to dig into this baby! And, yes, they ate the whole thing. They said that the dog has a very pleasant taste. I will have to try one...Next Time! KRISKO recently returned from Jamaica Mon! She brought me this one back as a souvenir. It will be on the top shelf of my bar!
My sister Lynda in a wheel chair on Christmas Eve coming to see her husband Warren (Next picture) who fractured his hip, and was waiting to go inot surgery! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Oh, yeah, she has a bad Sciatic problem.Here is my bro-in-law Warren waiting for surgery on Christmas Eve!LYNDA & WARREN had ordered a Christmas dinner from Bob Evans for 4 people. But because Warren was in the hospital the party was canceled. So I had to go over and help her eat it. Here is my plate. And at the game was the Browns #1 Fan, SUE BARTO! She was doing her impersonation of MILEY CYRUS!This is my sister LYNDA again trying out the Hoeveround that her and her husband WARREN bought from FERGIE! This picture was taken by R. B. and I made a little gambling trip. We went to the Horseshoe in Cleveland, and also the new Hardrock Racino in Northfield. No table or video poker games! BERNIE KOSAR has finally matched DAN MARINO! Not surprisingly he has a restaurant at the Racino. Specialty is "Angel Hiar Laces"!There were tons of College bowl games during December. And along with that came a bevy of Cheerleaders!Of course this wouldn't be a Geezers Nite Out Photo Gallery with cheerleaders without the Dallas Cowboys variety!WHAT IS THIS? JERRY EACK, The Jerry of JERRY'S CORNER on the website and his wife SHERRY won an All Expenses Paid trip to Las Vegas. Who would have figured that? A few years ago Jerry won a substantial amount in Vegas playing a unique table game called Let It Ride. He said he and Sherry did it! This is a very unique photo. During the holidays the host of All Bets Are Off BRUCE DRENNAN took a few days off. But after the surprise ROB CHUDZINKSI firing he jsut had to call in and talk to the guest host. Usually this post on air is for a guest sportswriter or coach!This has to be a Geezers CLASSIC. The Geezers met at The Grille on waterloo for our traditional New year's Eve Day meeting. However, we started at The Basement down the street. We left there after no one showed up. Once at Grille it changed. And we were surpised by GAYLE and DEWSTER (Cap).DEWSTER, an old friend of DRUMSTIR cans peppers. Very good peppers I may add. He surprised me by brining in a couple of his "Special" Chrsitmas Edition jars. I guess one is for the DRUMSTIR who was in FLA!After The Grille meeting I went home and started to cook my Pork Chops and Sauer Kraut. My mother, and sisters all make the kraut adding tomato juice. It sort of takes the bite out of it!While the pork chops and kraut were cooking I turned on DICK CLARK'S Rockin Eve with RYAN SEACREST. One of the guest performers in NYC was DEBBIE HARRY from Blondie. She was HOT! That was fast! OK here is the finished product! Pork Chops and Kraut with mashed potatoes.. Teh way its suppsoed to be done! It was done!Back to Dick Clark's Rockin Eve. This is Pitbull with his dancers. NYC TIMES SQUARE HAPPY NEW YEAR!MILEY CYRUS doing her thang with RYAN SEACREST!
