SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS AT THE GALAXY
Every September, and for the last two or three years at The Galaxy in Wadsworth, two Geezers, and one friend have celebrated their September Birthdays together. They are Joebo (9/10), R. B. (9/12), and Krisko (9/13)
Then there are two other friends who have birthdays also. They are husband and wife Dewster, and Gaylester (Hamilton). Gayle is (9/11), and Dewster (9/18). So we have friends who have B-Days on 9/10, 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, and 9/18.And if that isn't weird enough our good friend, and fellow musician Jack Bishop is (9/19), and my bro-in-law Warren was (9/24).
And just one more! My childhood friend, and fellow Hoban High School classmate "Jim Bob" Harpley. is (9/23).
It's a small world. But I guess the fact that all of these friends have birthdays close together is not too surprising after all if you believe in Astrology. Just check into when the birthdays are of your closest friends.
We had a great time that Wednesday nite. And it was the largest attendance for a Geezers Nite out this year. Go to our PHOTOS page to see some pictures from that nitie.

OCTOBER 5, 2016 - JOHNNY J'S PUB - SPRINGFIELD
At our first stop in October we were back to Johnny J's Pub & Grille after we finished our summer tour. Since it is now Fall we will begin meeting at places indoors. The favorite place that we will miss outdoors the most is The Galaxy Patio Parties in Wadsworth with live entertainment every Wednesday.
Johnny J's on Wednesdays has several different Happy Hours. For food they offer 1/2 off of Appetizers, and for drinks $3.00 domestic beer, and Martinis. Most of us get two appetizer each which makes for a great meal.
And.....if you sit at the bar, which we usually do, you get an order of FREE fries.
We had a visit from one of our Geezers who usualy cnanot make the Wendesay nite get togehters because he usually is at one of the Queen of Hearts drawings. It was "The Jerry". He owns Jerry's Corner page on our website. Check it out sometime.

ED (Ziggy) ZIEGLER
Ed Ziegler who we affectionally called "Ziggy" .passed away on November 22, 2016.
He was a good friend of most of the Geezers, and a fellow associate with others at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
Ed was a smart guy, funny, and a good golfer and pinball player.
He graduated from Youngstown University, earned a Masters at the University of South Carolina, and a doctorate from Kent State University. He also taught at Kent State until he retired.
There is an obituary online @Ohio.com.
His wife Maureen also worked at Goodyear in a managerial position. We want to express our Sincere Sympathy to Maureen and the rest of the Ziegler family.
