The PHANTOM BAND CHRISTMAS 2011 At

Below are pictures of The Phantom Band taken by Bob Swisher at Just One More for the Annual Goodyear Christmas Party on DEC 22, 2011.

The band had been playing at a Christmas Party for the "last day worked" at Goodyear for many many years starting with the former Katmandu on E. Market St. near corporate headquarters.

There was a number of years after the Katmandu closed, and when many non essential employees began taking time off for the Holidays, when everyone was going their separate ways. The Phantom Band morphed into the Oldies But Goodies Band, and eventually dissolved.

However, the Phantom Band reformed for one gig at Christmas in 2006 at Just One More.

Then almost on a whim the band reformed again in 2009 for a surprising number of gigs including the Goodyear Christmas party at Dusty's Landing.

The following year in 2010 the band again made a Christmas appearance at Just One More under New Management. The party was a success and the band was invited back this year for another go around. Below is a Photo Gallery of some of the photos taken that night. Enjoy!

Here we have close ups of HANK, JOE BUZ, and DOUGIE in the first set of the evening.

A pic of the whole band. The girl singer is DALE, who sat in with the band when they played at JUST ONE MORE in August. She was added to the Christmas lineup. She is a business aquaintance of our drummer BIG DADDY.

Here is a pic of my Niece, KRISTEN HILKERT. She was there with her Mom and Dad (My sister and bro-in-law). Kristen is an aspiring actress from Hollywood, California home for the Holidays.

And here is a picture of the BIG BOI's brother, DAVE. He is NOT an actor, but he is a fellow musician from IOWA. I guess this is what they do there. D'OH! He sat in with us toward the end of the evening.

Here we have the BIG BOI with a former Gootyear employee, and fellow associate, BOBBY (T-BONE) TOMPKINS. They used to be the "young guys"! I just want to say what's happening is not what it looks like!

Here is "T-Bone" with another former Goodyear associate, DICK LABER, who is on Halloween the "World's Tallest Leprachan"!
